The Devotion of the Three Hail Marys Requested by Our Lady

While Saint Mechtilde was praying to the glorious Virgin Mary to deign to assist her with her presence at the hour of her death, the Holy Virgin replied: “I promise you this; but for this purpose, you shall recite three Hail Marys every day.

With the first, you will turn to God the Father, who in His supreme power exalted my soul, establishing me as the highest after God in heaven and on earth; and you will ask Him that I may be present at the hour of your death to comfort you and…

The Dignity of Work: Summary of Father Clay Hunt’s Message

* The Divine Mandate: Father Clay explains that following original sin, the Lord gave humanity a specific command: "By the sweat of your brow you will bring forth the produce of the land." He emphasizes that work is not just a material necessity but a "divine mandate" to which we must conform.

* Satisfaction in Labor: When we work and see the results of our efforts, we feel good because we are in harmony with God's will. Father Clay states that in those moments, we can sense the Holy…

A Heavenly Gift for Holy Saturday

Here is a heavenly gift on this Holy Saturday. It comes from Saint Alphonsus Maria de Liguori:

“The great love of Mary deserves our gratitude, and that gratitude should at least consist in meditating upon and having compassion for her sorrows. Yet she complained of this to Saint Bridget, that very few had compassion for her, and that most lived forgetful of them; therefore she strongly recommended to the saint to keep memory of her sorrows:

‘I look upon how many there are in…

TOTUS TUUS MARIA

The image captures a moment of profound communion between earthly life and the divine. At the center of the scene, the wooden statue of the Virgin Mary, utterly pure in its simplicity, embodies Grace and spiritual motherhood. Her humble and composed posture invites the faithful to turn to Her with trust and devotion.

The faithful, kneeling with rosaries…

This Is What I’m Realizing

I’ve been realizing for quite some time now that many of the things we share today don’t spark the same interest as they once did, and often go almost unnoticed.

I don’t think it’s simply indifference, but rather a sign of the times we’re living in: we’re surrounded by a constant flow of news, content, and suggestions… so much so that, at a certain point, it becomes hard even to pause and choose. Everything moves quickly, everything feels similar, and very little seems truly…

Walking the Way of the Cross, One Step at a Time

I have to say it: every time I pray the Way of the Cross, it never feels like “just another prayer.” There’s something that reaches me deep inside. Step by step, I feel like I’m really there, walking beside Jesus.

I often think of what Saint Paul of the Cross said: “The Passion of Jesus is the greatest and most wondrous work of divine love.” And the more I meditate on it, the more I realize it’s not something distant… it’s about me, my life, my struggles.

And Saint Alphonsus…

A discovery that surprised me a few days ago

A few days ago, I came across this in a hospital chapel!

Bless the chaplain who dedicated a small altar to him, complete with a kneeler.

In recent years, thanks to the efforts of Father Donald Calloway, devotion to Saint Joseph “Terror of Demons” has spread widely in the United States. Now it’s Italy’s turn. This is the first statue of…

Sharing Life as It Comes

I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time — a clean, simple network without ads, without cookies popping up everywhere, without random news I never asked for. A place where we can talk freely about our faith and our everyday life, and where I can write in a natural, spontaneous way instead of copying and pasting long texts that almost nobody reads.

Today, for example, after Holy Mass I joined the parish lunch for the Feast of Saint Joseph. It was wonderful. I talked with…

We Are Made for Eternity by Fulton J. Sheen

Peace of mind is attained by those who are rightly anxious to attain the Perfect Happiness that is God. A soul is anxious because its final and eternal state has not yet been determined; it remains, always, at the crossroads of life. We cannot be cured of this fundamental anxiety by abandoning ourselves to passions and instincts; the…

Turn to Saint Joseph!

"Dear friends, the day we have forgotten St. Joseph is the day where we're deprived of the great protector of family life. Ever since we've neglected St. Joseph, ever since our children do not have statues-images of St. Joseph, ever since the typical Catholic family has neglected seeking on a regular frequent basis recourse to St. Joseph--ever since…

St. Teresa of Avila: Advantages of Devotion to Saint Joseph

"I took for my advocate and lord the glorious Saint Joseph and commended myself earnestly to him; and I found that this my father and lord delivered me both from this trouble and also from other and greater troubles concerning my honor and the loss of my soul, and that he gave me greater blessings than I could ask of him. I do not remember even now that I…

Go to Joseph and do whatever he tells you (Gen 41:55).

I definitely had a deep devotion to St. Joseph before I entered the Marian Fathers, but it really grew during my novitiate in Stockbridge. Every day, we would go to Mass at the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy. When you enter from the Shrine residence, on the left before you get to the sanctuary, there's a beautiful statue of St.…

Fr. Donald Calloway

Some people are wondering if it is possible to consecrate yourself to St. Joseph if you have already consecrated yourself to Mary and entrusted everything to her care. The answer is a resounding YES! Consecration to St. Joseph with Fr. Calloway

Drawing on the wealth of the Church's living tradition, Fr. Donald Calloway, MIC, calls on all of us to turn to St. Joseph, entrust ourselves, our Church, and our world to our spiritual father's loving care, and then watch for wonders when the Universal Patron of the Church opens the floodgates of Heaven to pour out graces into our lives today.
