Where the internet feels human again
I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time — a clean, simple network without ads, without cookies popping up everywhere, without random news I never asked for. A place where we can talk freely about our faith and our everyday life, and where I can write in a natural, spontaneous way instead of copying and pasting long texts that almost nobody reads.
Today, for example, after Holy Mass I joined the parish lunch for the Feast of Saint Joseph. It was wonderful. I talked with people I had never met before, enjoyed the warmth of being together, and even helped clear the tables afterward. Small things, but full of meaning.
This is the kind of atmosphere I hope we can build here — genuine, simple, rooted in real life and real encounters. A community where we can share what we live, what moves us, and what helps us grow in faith, one honest moment at a time.

Is a simple place on the web where we return to communicating like in the early days of the internet. Here we don’t paste texts taken from elsewhere, but we share life day by day, in a spontaneous way. It’s this authenticity that makes the network more beautiful and more genuine.
We share our faith, our traditions, our culture, our hobbies. We also tell about our devotions, those daily gestures that help us stay close to God and that are part of our personal story. We do this with serenity, without fear of expressing what we believe.
And we take our time. Time to read calmly.
I know it’s not easy to step away from Facebook or other social platforms, but we can try. The founder of the Light Phone II said he created that phone because he felt the need to “free our time and attention from digital overload” and return to a healthier relationship with technology. In our own small way, we can take a step in that direction too.
1. Respect everyone.
Speak kindly and listen with sincerity. This is a human‑centered space.
2. Catholic faith in the Tradition.
Marian devotion, the sacraments, the saints, and the Church’s teaching are part of who we are.
3. No politics.
We avoid topics that divide or create tension. This is a place to breathe.
4. No forced content.
Share what you truly live: prayers, reflections, daily life, spiritual experiences.
5. No advertising or self‑promotion.
The Simple Web is free from marketing and distractions.
6. Calm conversations.
No rush, no toxic debates, no pressure. The pace is that of the early 2000s web.
7. Privacy and discretion.
Respect the personal life of other members. Trust matters here.
8. Share with simplicity.
Photos, thoughts, testimonies — everything is welcome when it comes from the heart.
9. Keep a friendly tone.
We’re a small community; treat it like a welcoming home.
10. Remember why we’re here.
To live our faith peacefully, away from algorithms, forced feeds, and digital noise.
